One morning you arrive at your PC and you find…… “TFS has expired”, at that moment is when you cry out to heaven, you think… “why didn’t I become a Latin teacher”, and a thousand other ideas, none of them good. But don’t worry, if for some reason you didn’t remember that the version that was installed was the trial one, instead of the good one, your problem has several solutions.

 Buy a CAL

To enter it you will only have to go to Add or remove programs, modify your TFS and you will be able to enter the new serial number.

Earn a few days

IF you have already purchased a new license, but you have nothing more than the physical support, and not the serial, you can buy a few days to be able to extract the data and integrate it into the new installation. Download the attached program “TFSVersionDetection.zip”. Execute it and you will have 30 more days in which your top priority will be to change everything so that it doesn’t happen again.

Of course, the latter is your responsibility, and has consequences regarding your license.
