What was my surprise when upon entering MSDN I found many Microsoft products with “N” at the end. Well no, don’t believe that Microsoft changes its name or releases optimized versions of its products.

The reality is that they are shortened versions of their products, given that many of them did not comply with European regulations related to Windows Media Player, so it is not included as standard in these versions.

P.S. Don’t even think about saying out loud to some feverish mind what the new version of “Windows XP N” is called.
